Idan Zveibil
Villa Rasko
Nahariya, Israel
A small family residence near the coast in Israel. This house uses light plaster and treated wood in the façade and natural stone tiles for the ground cover and floor. There is a delicate balance between old and new in this project with acute use of antique furniture within a modern space.
The design of the building is following the passive house ideology minimizing direct sunlight in the interiors during the hot periods of the day while permitting indirect light to fill the interior.
